We spent two days and one night getaway at Legok Kondang Glamping Ground or Legok Kondang Logde as the name of their website's address. Since we came in big family including my sister, brother in law and my niece/nephews so we booked Family Suite Tent which has picturesque balcony to see sunrise and it could accomodate for nineth of us (it's should be accomodate for eight persons). Actually spent weekday in there was my niece's idea, she asked her parents to came to Jakarta from Pangkal Pinang so that we can drove together to Ciwidey, i thought it was a great idea for having such an extraordinary stay other than at the hotel as usual. Stay overnight in the tent more like hotel facilities gave some unique experience. At the balcony we can get nice dinner which we can order from the hotel's restaurant despite the taste was so so. We ordered mie tek-tek, fried rice, nasi liwet, and other fried food for snacks. Quite atmosphere, cool weather, and away from hustle and bustle city life trully recharge our energy during vacations.
The facilities itself in the tent adequate our needs, such as lcd tv and a lot of tv channel choices, two bed king size and four single bed, daily water bottle, private balcony with wooden dining table set, bathroom equipped with refilled shampoo, bodywash, toothkit, and warm water.
To be honest, there's nothing special about the surroundings of the gamping ground itself, expect the the village atmosphere which located at the hills, and our tent has private balcony to see sunrise. Outside the tent they gave some facilities such as tea/coffe maker shared to other guests, there's also bonfire at the higher ground outside the tent at night, plus dining table openair. At first we got lost a bit since the glamping ground located upon a hill and far away from the main street. We could call for shuttle car, and got parked our car at the villager's house. At the tent i've found that there's only one trash bin in the tent which placed in the bathroom, the other trashbin placed outdoor area near the tent but looks so dirty. The water heater was less response and a bit hard to adjust. The variations of the breakfast menu was so so, nothing special. But they privide playground near the breakfast restaurant, and there was a sunflower garden.
This glamping ground was not bad at all, but we had higher expectation for the glamorous imagination, i thought that the management should provide more since the room rate was a bit expensive.
